TAROT VOGUE

Tarot Vogue is a collection of the Major Arcana in a standard tarot deck designed in a collage style. Each card is comprised of elements from a different luxury fashion brand campaign and is a tribute to my first memories of collaging as an adolescent with old Teen Vogue magazines.

 

The fashion advertisements in Teen Vogue served as inspiration for collage, painting, and eventually layout and art direction as the I began a professional career in graphic design. This project is very much a love letter to the magazines and the industry that shaped me into the artist and designer that I am today, as well as a personal passion project goal to create my own playing card deck. Tarot Vogue invites users to experience a traditional three-card tarot reading with the addition of high fashion design elements.

I am very proud to represent the Kutztown University Communication Design department as the student recipient of both national and regional accolades for this passion project.
